Frequently asked questions

A few of the things owners ask us most often. Can't see your question? Call, text or WhatsApp us on 07855 475851 — we're always happy to help.

Q.What vaccinations does my cat need to stay?

Cats must be vaccinated against cat flu and feline enteritis, given at least 14 days before boarding. Please bring an up-to-date vaccination certificate on arrival — we'll keep it safely on file for the stay.

Q.What should I bring?

Your cat's vaccination certificate, enough of their usual food for the stay, and any medication in its original labelled packaging. You're warmly welcome to bring familiar bedding, toys or a blanket from home to help them settle.

Q.What food do you feed?

We feed quality brands including IAMS, Harringtons, Scrumbles and HiLife, and we're happy to keep your cat on their own food to avoid any tummy upsets. Just let us know their routine.

Q.Can cats from the same family share?

Yes. Cats from the same household can share a pen, and our interconnected two-pen suites suit larger families who'd like a little extra room to stretch out.

Q.Can you give medication?

Yes. We can administer most medication, including injections such as insulin, at £2–£4 per cat per day. Please provide it in the original veterinary packaging, clearly labelled with the dosage.

Q.What are your opening and drop-off times?

By appointment, normally 10am–4pm, seven days a week. We prefer afternoon drop-offs and morning collections, so we can settle new guests gently and clean thoroughly between stays.

Q.Is there a minimum stay?

Yes: 3 nights off-peak, 4 nights from 1 June to 30 September, and 5 nights over the Christmas period (21 December to 4 January).

Q.Is the cattery climate controlled?

Yes. Following our 2026 upgrade the whole cattery is climate controlled year-round — kept at a steady, comfortable temperature through summer heat and winter cold, with air-conditioning and 24/7 heating.

Q.Do you offer collection and drop-off?

Yes — a local pick-up and drop-off service at £0.85 per mile (minimum £15 each way), calculated from the cattery. Handy if you're heading straight to the airport.

Q.Can I look round before I book?

Absolutely. Viewings are always welcome by arrangement — a quick call ahead lets us show you round properly and answer any questions in person.
